TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to J J Fahie Green Croft, Chesham Bois Common, Bucks
Date29 January 1915
Description'Since writing to you on Tuesday with reference to your suggestion concerning a portrait of Galileo I have had the opportunity of mentioning the subject to some Fellows of the Society; and one of them, whose interest was aroused, has asked me to ascertain whether it would be possible to see the picture, and (best of all) whether an arrangement could be made for sending it here for inspection. In that event every care would of course be taken for its security. I shall be glad of your reply.'
