TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to A J Walton
Date2 February 1915
Description'Your paper on "The variation in the growth of mammalian tissue in vitro" has been under consideration by the Physiology Committee, and while they are prepared to recommend it for publication in the Proceedings, I am directed to say that the Committee are of opinion that the paper should be much abbreviated; and that in the details of the various experiments, this could be done without impairing in any way the value of the paper.
On hearing from you that you are willing to carry out this suggestion I will forward the manuscript to you.'
