Description'Your letter expressing your wish to retire from the Council was considered yesterday. and it was resolved that leave of absence should be given you during the remainder of the session. We have only two more meetings of Council before the long vacation and as you may [possible be attend] again in October the Council prefer to retain you as a member.'
