The author should be asked to discuss how far the superposition of a circulation round the body, which is artiificially adjusted so as to avoid a singularity at one edge, is likely to be a good representation of the action of a viscous eddying strea,. Kutta and others have assumed that this is so, without however really going into the question. It is very [important] that this question should be gone into.' |
