Description'Your letter of the 9th instant shall be laid before Council in due course. Meantime however their formal consent may be anticipated and I have instructed our printers to prepare and forward direct to you electros of the figures you require in the two papers by Ewing and Humfrey, and Ewing and Rosenhain. I should be glad to know you have of the permission of Professor F D Adams, MgGill University, Montreal, before doing the same with regard to Adams and Nicolson's paper.'
