TitleCopy letter from [Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society]; to unknown recipients
Date7 October 1915
DescriptionExplains that the Royal Society has been offered a reversionary interest in certain shares in the London and Westminster Bank under the will of a deceased Fellow. Before accepting, the Royal society wants to know where it stands in terms of future calls on the shares being made before they become vested. States that is has been suggested that the Society could cover any such risk by insurance at Lloyds. [Robert William Frederick Harrison] asks his recipients if that is the case and if so what the rate for such insurance is likely to be.
