TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Professor W J Ashley, 3 Yateley Road, Edgbaston
Date4 August 1915
Description'I have to write and thank you most cordially on behalf of the Royal Society for the assistance which you are so kindly giving to one of its Committees, I need hardly say that the subject you are engaged on is one of surpassing interest at this moment, and may I cordially wish you success in your investigations.
I am afraid you will be put to some expense in coming to London to these committee meetings; I hope you will allow the Society to make it good to you.'
