Informs Mr. Bager that the researches which gained Lord [Randal Thomas Mowbray Rawdon] Berkeley his Fellowship were principally: 'Some physical constants of saturated solutions', 'A method of measuring directly high osmotic pressures', 'The determination of the osmotic pressures of solutions by the measures of their vapour pressures' and 'On the osmotic pressures of some concentrated aqueous solutions'. [All of these appear in the publications of the Royal Society.]
