|Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Lord Rayleigh, FRS
|21 February 1916
|Informs Lord Rayleigh that the Duke of Norfolk's mortgage for £12,000, one of the Royal Society's investments, has been called in and the Deed of re-conveyance of the property was sealed by the Council at their last meeting. Explains that the Deed requires Lord Rayleigh's signature, being the only surviving Trustee of the mortgage. Asks when it will be convenient for Lord Rayleigh to call at the Society and sign.
