Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr. Edward John Russell; Lawes Agricultural Trust, Rothamsted Experimental Station, Harpenden |
Date | 28 February 1916 |
Description | Reply to an earlier enquiry from Dr. Edward John Russell. Informs Dr. Russell that if Mr. Horton can satisfy the Royal Society Committee of his qualifications as an analytical, consulting or research chemist, then he would be placed on the Reserved Occupations List. Explains that if Mr. Horton has already attested, he needs to approach his Local Tribunal who would in turn get in touch with the Royal Society. If Mr Horton has not yet attested he must obtain a certificate of recommendation from the Society, for which the Society will need to see a full statement of his chemical qualifications. |
