Your letter of May 11 shall be laid before Council in due course. Meantime, however, their formal consent may be anticipated and I have instructed our printers to prepare and forward direct to you electros of the figures you require in the paper by Mr. F.E. Smith. I shall be glad to know that you have the author's permission to reproduce these diagrams.'
