TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor [Hugh Longbourne] Callendar, FRS
Date27 March 1916
Description'Dear Professor Callendar,
Both referees (Prof. Hicks and Prof. Schuster) have reported favourably on the paper by Nicholson and Merton, but suggested the omission of three figures, to which the authors have agreed. Prof. Hicks recommends the Paper for Proceedings, but it is too long, the estimated length being 40 pages. Prof. Schuster is prepared to [...] the paper for Phil. Trans. if you concur. Will you please let me know if you agree.'
