DescriptionRefers to the Secretary's previous letter relating to the Memorandum of the Supply of Essential Drugs. Informs the Secretary that the Council have considered the Memorandum and recognise the importance of setting up permanently a Synthetic Drugs and Fine Chemical Industry within the Empire. Notes that they are of the further opinion that Government assistance will be necessary, and steps therfore should be taken to include this question in the scheme for reconstruction after the war.
