DescriptionAdvises that the President [Sir Joseph John Thomson, PRS] and Council of the Royal Society elected him the previous week to the Foulerton Studentship of the value of £400 per year for 'an investigation of the effects on the body of inadequate oxygen supply; and of the exact natureog the biochemical mechanism by which anoxaemia affects the tissues involved.' The Studentship lasts for three years in the first instance from 25 March 1920.
