I feel very disinclined to help him, but I will bring it before the Treasurer [Sir David Prain, FRS].' Goes on to say that because Miss Foulerton died within a year of making the bequest, there are heavy death duties, and the Treasurer is unsure if they are in a position to elect two students that year. |
