Title | Copy letter from Sir James Hopwood Jeans, FRS, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor EG [Ernest George] Coker, FRS |
Date | 21 February 1920 |
Description | Advises that his paper 'On the stress strain properties of nitro-cellulose' has been received in amended form, but that he has not carried out the changes recommended by the Physics Committee. These were that the paper be greatly reduced and most of the tables up to page 23 be removed. He is therefore sending more details from the report on his paper to assist him in complying, and advises that they had hoped he would reduce the paper to 24 pages, the length required for the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society.' Also requests he strike out more clearly the tables he does not wish to have printed to avoid confusion at the printers. |
