DescriptionRegarding the paper by WNF Woodland, 'The renal portal system (renal venous meshwork) and kidney excretion in vertebrata,' advises the paper was referred to the Zoology Committee, but as the paper is so physiologically based, it has been thought advisable to get the opinion of the Physiology Committee. The paper is for the 'Philosphical Transactions of the Royal Society,' and is estimated to be 100 pages, with 11 figures, and a cost of around £176. Copies of the comments of the two referees who it has been sent to are enclosed [not enclosed]. Asks if consideration of the paper should await a meeting of the Committee, or whether any further action should be taken.
