|Copy letter from Edwin Deller, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to John S. Smart Esquire, the University of Glasgow
|2 March 1920
|Refers to Mr. John S. Smart's previous enquiry into a letter from [Henry] Oldenburg to Edward Lawrence. Explains that the Society's Archives are now accessible and that he will therefore be able to consult them in the usual way. Notes that his application must get the consent of Council, however, should he want to consult the manuscripts at an earlier date the Library would allow him to do so in advance of this consent.
