Encloses a list of the applicants, the suggestions of the Chairman, Sir [Edwin] Ray Lankester, regarding these applicants and a list of Societies that have already received the reports. Asks if Professor Gardiner concurs with the Chairman's decision and whether he has any other suggestions.
