Title | Copy letter from John Evans, to Messrs Few & Company |
Date | 22 March 1892 |
Description | Evans will bring the question of making application to the court in order that a portion of the Stevenson bequest may be paid over to the Royal Society before the Council. In the meantime the Messrs may seek[?] for the concurrence of the other parties interested that the Society has £3518, three Consols also in Chancery arising from the sale of the Coleman Street Estate. Evans wonders if they could 'get that out also' but is afraid it has to be invested in freehold property, as per the Messrs letter of November 1835 enclosed [not attached]. |
