TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to the Chief Signal Officer, Washington, United States of America
Date31 March 1892
DescriptionThe Royal Society has received from the United States Weather Bureau an application for an exchange of publications. Works which formerly came from the Signal Office are now received from the Weather Bureau and it seems just that the Royal Society should send them in return the publications which were formerley sent to the Signal Office. Rix wishes to ascertain whether the Royal Society's publications are still of use to the Signal Office and what works they now publish.
