DescriptionIn answer to the Messrs note of 2 April, at the Council Meeting on 30 October 1890 an allowance of £10 was made to Mr Howard from the rent of the year just elapsed. Howard was accepted as tenant at the Mablethopre Estate by resolution of Council on 28 October 1886 at the reduced yearly rate of £100 without deduction except income tax. On 16 June 1887 the Treasurer [John Evans] was empowered to allow Howard £33 10s for new works and repairs. No other allowance has been made, except that stated in 1890.
