TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mr Pyke
Date27 May 1892
DescriptionRix is sorry to say the Committee considered it quite out of the question to ask all the friends Pyke put down. Space is even more limited at the Ladies Soirée than at the Gentleman's and only one invitation is allowed for each exhibitor. The Committee will allow a card for Sir Julius and Lady Vogel in addition to the one already sent to Mr and Mrs L E Pyke but the other friends cannot be admitted. Mr Preece's list was already full so Rix could not persuade him to ask any of Pyke's friends.
