|Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Peter Guthrie Tait, Royal Society of Edinburgh
|18 June 1892
|Number 307 of the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' is not yet issued and may be delayed another week or two, but will be sent as soon as ready.
Rix is very sorry to learn Tait has not received the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' for 1891. The order was duly filed and the volumes noted as dispatched on 25 March but he fails to find a receipt from the Railway Company. Rix has ordered a second parcel to be sent today. He supposes Tait would not care to have the 'Transactions' posted number by number as they can be sent in that form.
