|Title||Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Peter Guthrie Tait, Royal Society of Edinburgh|
|Date||18 June 1892|
|Description||Number 307 of the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' is not yet issued and may be delayed another week or two, but will be sent as soon as ready. |
Rix is very sorry to learn Tait has not received the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' for 1891. The order was duly filed and the volumes noted as dispatched on 25 March but he fails to find a receipt from the Railway Company. Rix has ordered a second parcel to be sent today. He supposes Tait would not care to have the 'Transactions' posted number by number as they can be sent in that form.
