DescriptionThe Secretary's letter of 31 May enclosing a copy of a note, number 342, received through the Foreign Office from the Russian Ambassador in London, was laid before the President and Council of the Royal Society and in accordance with the invitation therein contained, they have appointed Sir John Evans, Treasurer and Vice-President of the Royal Society, to represent the Society at the International Congress in Moscow.
