DescriptionIs sorry to hear that Sir [William] Napier Shaw is unable to attend the Gassiot Committee meeting this afternoon. Notes that if Sir Shaw were to send the proof to the Society [unspecified] he would get a formal report from the Sectional Committee and lay the matter before Council. However, warns that the Society's finances are in a bad way and Council are unlikely to grant any sum.
