Description | Reminds the High Commissioner that in 1906 the Society undertook the publication of a Report on the Magnetic Survey of South Africa and that the Commissioner of Public Works provided a sum of £600 to meet the expense of printing. Notes that most of the copies of this Report were distributed for free among various Government Departments and Societies, however, that some were sold, and a sum of £20.11.8 has been received for those that were. Asks whether the Society should keep this sum to defray the expense incurred while supervising publication or pay it over to the High Commissioner. |
