DescriptionInforms Mr. [George William] Lamplugh that they have received an application from the Linnean Society for a publication grant towards the cost of publishing a paper by the late Dr. Newell Arber, 'Critical studies of coal measure plant impressions'. Notes that this application will go before Council at their meeting in July and asks Mr. Lamplugh if he could aid their decision by giving his opinion on the desirability of making such a grant.
