|Informs Mr. C. R. Austen that his grant application in aid of his 'Investigation on the decarbonisation of steel by hydrogen under pressure' was recently laid before Council who could not see their way to making the grant applied for. Notes that, if he is able to continue this work next year, he could apply to the Government Grant Fund for a sum towards it.
