Title | Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Professor [George Ellery] Hale, FRS |
Date | 13 December 1921 |
Description | Is glad to give Miss Messer permission to copy the Society's portrait of Young. Regrets to hear that Professor [George Ellery] Hale will not be present at Rome meetings of the International Unions of Geodesy amd Geophysics and Astronomy, and asks if he is planning to spend any time in the UK prior to the Brussels meeting [of the International Catalogue of Scientific Literature]. Notes that, if so, Professor Hale would be welcome to stay with him at Dorking. |
