|Copy letter from Francis Alexander Towle, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to J. P. Gilson Esq.; Department of Manuscripts, British Museum, W.C.1.
|24 January 1924
|In reply to J. P. Gilson's enquiry, does not anticipate problems with lending the Royal Society MS letters to the British Museum, but requires an order of Council first. In the meantime points out that some of Gilson's references are wrong, and invites someone from the British Museum to come here and go through the MS with the Assistant Librarian.
