DescriptionInforms Robert John Strutt of 2 matters; that McLennan has been written to in regards to Grayson Smith's paper 'The band spectrum of potassium' and 2 favourable reports on the paper 'Experiments on the duration of impacts, [mainly of bars with rounded ends, in elucidation of the elastic theory' by J. E. P. Wagstaff]; both referees, [James Alfred] Ewing and [Ernest George] Coker suggest the paper should not be condensed as it will reduce the value. Contains a p.s. that the paper be published in Proceedings rather than Transactions.
