|Replies that no instructions were given by the Government Grant Committee regarding on what to do with the unspent grant of £2.19.11, which was given last year for research into the growth and sex change in crepidula [Slipper shells}, and states that this means Orton's budget for this year has increased to £3.13.11. Also asks for the return of a grant of £21.1.1 if Orton is not going to Spitzbergen [Norway] to investigate the rate and growth of marine organism in artic conditions, as money is short.
