Date | 15 May 1924 |
Description | Apologises for the late reply to the letter sent 8 May and for missing the Kelvin Committee on Friday. Asks if Richard Glazebrook would like to meet and list days in which James Hopwood Jeans will be in London in May (20, 22, 26,28,29) where he will have meetings in the Afternoon and a meeting at 12:00 on the 20 May. Also states that Frank Edward Smith is also free on the mornings of the days mentioned. Mentions that it is unknown if the Royal Society has any funds to spend on the Kelvin Dinner and contributing to the Guarantee Fund would cause complications, mentions that the Officers have been spoken to and have asked to be notified if there are any serious deficits regarding the Dinner. |
