DescriptionReplies that the covering letter accompanying the Yarrow gift states that care must be taken for any funding not to lessen any government grant, and that the employment of an assistant might be taken as such by the Yarrow Committee. States that there will be support for funding the research of 'men who are at the very top of the scientific world' and advises Lloyd to make a formal application if he wishes for the opinion of the Council.
