TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Alfred Gilbert, New Studios, 16 Maida Vale, W.
Date27 June 1893
DescriptionGilbert's letter of the 18th May has been send to Rix by Mr B A Joule; who had been delayed in sending it due to family bereavement. The Society shall be glad to have the bust at the Society when it is convenient for Gilbert to send it. Regarding painting, if Gilbert proposes using a preparation which will give it something of the white of the plaster it would no doubt be an advantage but they do not like the shiny yellowish paint sometimes used for plaster busts.
