|Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to J Nisbet, Orford Street, Ipswich
|5 January 1893
|Nisbet's note is to hand and shall be laid before the Officers at the next opportunity. Meanwhile Rix ought to explain that the Royal Society is not a lecturing society and the only way in which a subject can be brought before the Society is by sending a manuscript which must be endorsed by a Fellow as suitable for reading.
