TitleCopy letter from Professor Michael Foster, to William Martin Conway
Date20 January 1893
DescriptionIt is difficult to estimate how far Conway's £100 went, whether for instance both the plants and the geological specimens may be supposed to have been gained by means of it, or one of these only. If Foster thinks that the geological as well as the botanical specimens were gained by the £100, [Thomas George] Bonney should send specimens of value to the British Museum when he has quite done with them, keeping duplicates of course. This perhaps would be best in any case, though not necessary, if Conway thinks the plants alone cost the £100.
