Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster |
Date | 7 March 1893 |
Description | Rix encloses an important letter from the Royal College of Physicians respecting the conduct of one of the Society's Fellows [not attached].
Mrs Garrett-Anderson writes for a ticket to the Virchow [Rudolph Ludwig Karl] Lecture and Rix supposes it must be sent. Also asks if he may send a ticket to any to any female doctors that applies and wonders what to do about ladies that are not doctors. Several medical students have applied and Rix wonders if he must insist on the introduction of an FRS. He has already sent Sir Andrew Clark a second 25 [tickets] and wonders if a third should go to him. Rix wants to announce the change of arrangements [for the Croonian lecture location] in this week's nature and this can only be done if he sends up first thing tomorrow. |
