TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to William Cecil Dampier Whetham, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date22 November 1892
DescriptionRix notes the Society has no laboratory apparatus at all and must hire what Whetham wants.

They have plenty of American pegs in the house but if these will not serve for the clamps, Rix will be obliged if Whetham will bring his own. They do have a black board and chalk and a good electric lantern and screen. They can disconnect the leads from Whetham's experiments and connect them to the lantern without difficulty. If however Whetham wants to use both at the same time, they must make special leads and in that case Whetham should telegraph. Asks if Whetham could come a few hours before the Thursday meeting to set up.
