TitleCopy letter from Francis Alexander Towle, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to the Secretary Assistant, Linnean Society of London
Date9 December 1927
DescriptionAcknowledges the application for a £75 grant to assist in the publication of Captain. Kingdon Ward's paper. Informs them that a decision to award a grant in January is rarely taken unless urgent, this is done in July. Also ask for a copy of the Accounts of the Linnean Society, especially for publications and how much this publication will cost. Asks if they would like the manuscript back, as it may be safer with them.
