Description | Rix reports that it has been decided that three figures should be lithographed to illustrate Dr Forsyth Major's paper on Megaladapis madagascariensis, and that the author suggests Woodward be asked to draw them. He is unclear as to whether they will make three plates, or be combined on one, and although he knows they are to be 'of natural size', he does not know the size of the creature. Rix suggests that Woodward ask her father this question, and if she is then willing to undertake the work, he asks that she supply an estimate. It would be preferable to have it by Thursday, so that he may submit it to the Senior Secretary, who returns that week.
Rix specifies that the figures of the skull are to show it from above, from below, and from the side. |
