TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Sherrington, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date27 September 1893
DescriptionAs Rix does not understand Sherrington's letter he returns the plates, and asks that he ink-in all the pencil marked to be reproduced, and erase all those that are not, so as to prevent the engravers from making any mistakes. He asks that the plates not be taken to Cambridge, but returned to the Royal Society.

With regard to his additional plate, Rix asks if the colours must be reproduced, as it will make a difference of five pounds and 12 shillings to the price, as opposed to being printed in black.

Rix does not know what Messrs Harrison & Sons charge for the separate copies, but he will ask them to send word to Sherrington.
