I am sending you by this post the originals of your plates. We have put the text in hand, but the Committee are ^of^ the opinion that some of the figures in the plates might be spared. We propose, therefore, to omit figures 2, 8, 9, 12 & 29. Please let me know whether you have any remarks to make upon this proposal. Will you, at the same time, say whether you can lend us negatives of the photographic figures?
