TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Dr Henry Hicks, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date4 January 1894
Description'Dear Sir,
I did not know that you had been in communication with Sir John Evans about your application. It will not be necessary for you to call here, the fact that Sir John Evans asked you to send it in before the middle of January is sufficient indication that he thought it suitable for the Donation Fund. I will take care that the application is put upon the agenda for the January council.
I am, yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
