Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to William Henry Wesley, Royal Astronomical Society |
Date | 23 April 1894 |
Description | Rix reports that Professor Harry Govier Seeley has decided that he must limit the plates of his paper to four, with the remainder of the specimens being represented by process blocks; as he believes by this means he will be able to get the matter out of hand and the specimens returned to Russia. He suggests that this will be a relief to Wesley, and that the four plates are approaching completion, with the fifth not yet begun. If Rix is mistaken, he asks that Wesley let him know.
Seeley has said that he would be glad to have the specimens returned as they are finished with, so that he may send off an installment of them without delay. |
