I am instructed to inform you that at the last meeting of Council your letter (185/CII) of February 26th, inquiring whether a further audit of the Observatory accounts for 1892-93 is desired by the Royal Society in accordance with Section IX of the Memorandum of Association of the Incorporated Kew Committee, was read, and it was resolved that Mr Keen be requested to audit the Accounts of the Kew Observatory at a fee not exceeding five guineas.
