Inclosed I beg leave to hand you the official letter informing you of the resolution passed at the last Council. Also, on a separate sheet, the Treasurer's answers to your questions put to me in your note of yesterday.

1. Vouchers had better be brought to Burlington House and permission be asked of Lord Rosse to break his seals.
2. It will be optional with the Committee to adopt any course they think best, but Mr Keen's audit had better procede that of the Committee's auditors, and should, if practicable, be "continuous".
3. There will be no need of any member of the Committee being present at Mr Keen's audit, which can be held either here or at Kew as found most convenient to all parties'.
