In accordance with the promise contained in my note of yesterday, I now send you details of the engagement which we offer. Your salary will be £70 per annum, your holidays a fortnight in the summer, and your daily hours 10 to 5, except on Saturdays when they will be 10 to 1. The first month will be considered probationary. Miss Chambers has already explained to you the nature of the work, and I mentioned in my note of yesterday that we should like you to begin at 10 a.m. next Monday. I shall be glad to hear whether you are content with these conditions.
