TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Miss Grace Heath
Date18 May 1894
Description'Dear Miss Heath,
I saw Prof. [Professor] Weldon yesterday, and he wishes to engage your services, as soon as you leave the North London School, to aid him in the measurement of plants and animals. The remuneration, as I have told you, is one shilling an hour, but all particulars as to the work and arrangements you must obtain from Prof. Weldon, 30a Wimpole Street, W. It might serve to employ you until you get some better employment. The work is likely to go on for a year at least.
Yours truly,
H Rix
Asst. Sec. R.S. [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
